The High Climber of Dark Water Bay

Coming June 2018

A wilderness adventure

Twelve-year-old Lizzie is in trouble. She used to live a comfortable life with her loving father, but after the stock market crash of 1929 and his sudden death, she and her sister are poor—so poor that Lizzie is sent to live with her uncle at a logging camp in the remote wilderness of British Columbia. But when she arrives, her uncle isn’t there.

As Lizzie unravels the mystery of her uncle's disappearance, she discovers her own life is in danger. In order to survive, she will have to perform the most dangerous job at the camp, that of the high climber. As she pulls on the climber's harness, she proves to everyone, including herself, how brave she truly is.
